Join the APU Emoji Run 2024, organised by the APU Community Engagement of Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation, for a 5km night run at Technology Park Malaysia on October 5th, 2024. The event aims to raise funds for non-profit organisations and promote health and wellness. The fun features emoji-themed attractions along the route, and other activities. All proceeds will go towards deserving beneficiaries.

The Emoji Run is a charity fundraiser that is open to both the APU community and the public. It is part of the APU SMILE Fest: Euphoria Expedition.

The Emoji Run will take place on 5th October 2024 (Saturday).

The Emoji Run will commence at 7:00 pm sharp.

The event will be held at the Asia Pacific University of Innovation and Technology (APU) campus.

No, this is a non-competitive fun run, and all the registered runners of Emoji Run will be flagged off together.

The Emoji Run is a charity run initiated to raise funds for our beneficiaries, including the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), Rumah Kasih Charity Home, Furrykids Safehaven, and Free Tree Society.

Anyone who is legally residing in Malaysia is welcome to join!

A 5% platform fee will be charged by the registration service provider.

Your T-shirt size cannot be amended once registration has been completed. Please ensure that you have selected the correct size before submitting your registration.

Registered runners are entitled to receive the official event t-shirt, a finisher medal (strictly for those who completed the run), a drawstring bag, a neon kit, and an e-certificate.

The details of the race kit collection will be announced through our official website.

Someone you know, such as a friend or family member, can collect your race kit on your behalf as long as they can provide your registration confirmation and identification information.

We recommend runners to be there by the official opening of the event at 7 pm.

Yes, both of them will be provided. Free parking will be provided in front of APU, on a first come first serve basis. Meanwhile, APU shuttle buses will be provided to/from the LRT Bukit Jalil Station.

Participants are encouraged to wear the official event t-shirt and dress appropriately. It is also recommended to wear shoes that are comfortable for running to ensure a better running experience.

Yes, it is perfectly fine to stop and continue walking during the run but do not obstruct the course. It is more about having fun and enjoying the experience than finishing the run quickly.

Participants are allowed to bring their own neon accessories. The organizer reserves the right to deny entry if such accessories is deemed inappropriate.

No, there is no baggage check-in service provided. Participants are responsible for keeping custody of their belongings.

No. Alcohol is strictly prohibited, and the organizer reserves the right to deny entry if alcohol is found.

Smoking is strictly prohibited during the event, either on the APU campus, at checkpoints, or along the route.

The event will go ahead as scheduled unless there are extreme weather conditions that might pose a safety risk which participants will be informed about by the crews along the route.
